The bakery

A Willow Point institution, run by two Daves.

There has been a bakery on this corner of Willow Point for more than thirty years. Since 2013 it has belonged to David Placek and Dave Williams, who are in at 3:30 in the morning so the racks are full when the doors open at nine.

The board reads the old way. Bread comes out of the oven on its own weekly rhythm, sandwiches are stacked on whichever loaf you choose, and the soup is made from scratch every day the doors are open.

Order ahead online, or just come in and indulge.
